Bon Camino celebrates my long walk through the French countryside and over the misty Pyrenees. Medieval towns were nestled in the patchwork hills, bathed in soft mellow light. The gentle sounds of distant bells and farm animals would filter through the mist. Everywhere there was a sense of history surrounded by a quiet rural life.
In recent years I have come to live on Australia’s unspoilt south coast. Here, in Mallacoota, one interacts with nature, spectacular coastline and wonderful bird life every day. The “colourful” people are an endless source of inspiration.
